WHAT IS BREAK WAVE COACHING?

A Break Wave…

or breaking wave is the point at which the wave is forced to change. The top of the wave reaches a point that the crest overturns. The result are the dynamic and powerful waves that we see along coastlines.

As a behavior-based change coach, I work with you to find opportunities to make the changes you want in your health, fitness, and wellness. Just as a wave progresses to a point of visible and momentous change, so can we.

My Mission:

I help people build skills to live a healthy life and work towards their goals. I am a client-centered coach who is 100% focused on what is important to you. Together, we collaborate to discover achievable small actions, which in turn lead to big changes. This method of approaching change through cognitive behavior has been backed by scientific evidence to be successful in achieving long-term change.

Think about this: If we want to lift 50lbs overhead, we don’t start with a 50lb dumbbell on Day 1 of training. We start with 5lbs, then 10lbs, adding progressions overtime. We work up to to 50lbs.

This is the Break Wave Coaching method. We hit goals together with accountability and support, progress tracking, and small changes.

Most programs are 'action-based' and designed for people who are 100% ready to go all in. However, this isn't where many people are when they need to improve their health.

Having a coach who can help identify where you are, explore what you're ready to tackle, and how to shift into motivation, is where I come in.
